Passion

Oh, I've been doing really short posts for the past few days >.<

Anyway, I was really busy with PE1 activities and also READING!
So into reading lah nowadays, tempting novels, they are EVIL!
I found passion in reading novels again <3

So basically, today I'm feeling really good.
Hasn't been feeling this way for quite a long long time.
Especially this morning when I stepped out of that green hospital robe.
Like seriously, I don't get excited that often.
The last time was ages ago, hmmm, like when I won a few bets in Venetian Macao's casino :/

Oh well, for the umpteenth time, I'm exciteeedddd!
Coz it's Redang tomorrow until Thursday :)
and then it's Tioman on the following week :)
and then SABAH.
It's time to explore Malaysia LOL.

So I'll be leaving my blog for a few days.
Oh, maybe I'll update in Redang (if I could get my hands on wifi)
I really need to pack now.
The next time I do a long post, please don't blame me for camwhoring too much xD

HELLO KITE.
HELLO BEACH.
HELLO SUN ;)

Veganified @Loving Hut

Right, on the Chinese calendar, 15th is not until tomorrow :S
Oh well you don't need a reason to go vegan :)
So today, my mum, my grandma and I (funny 3 generations) went to Loving Hut @Kota Damansara to have dinner.

Loving Hut's logo, kawaii desu~

Whee, the shop is super nice, I mean the interior.
I have been there once but tak jadi makan, because that time lots of food were not available, it's quite difficult to dine at a place when almost 60% of the menu were not available ain't it?

I was attracted by this!

The New Four Food Group, SO THE HEALTHY LAAA.

Not long after we ordered, drinks arrived.

Hot Lemon Tea

Chamomile and Pomelo Tea

Aloe Lemon Juice

Food

Starter
featuring Apple, Cucumber, Lettuce, Raisin, Peanut, Green Pepper, Red Pepper, Tomato and Carrot

Nasi Lemak
Grandma ordered this.

Club Sandwich
Mine :)

and mum ordered a set meal.

Unagi in sweet sauces

Boiled Twin Vege and Brown Rice

My comment? I think I adore this shop, I totally love the concept, ambiance, environment and of course the FOOD!

As for my mum and grandma, they didn't like it haha.
The food was too plain for them.
Of course, what can you expect from Hakka's :P
Hakka's love food which are more flavorful and wet :)

I think I'll go back there for their healthy Sushi :)

Cheers to VEGANISM

She's Out of My League VS The Last Song

She's Out of My League

It is about an average Joe meets the perfect woman, but his lack of confidence and the influence of his friends and family begin to pick away at the relationship.
The perfect woman actually fell for him.
Ignoring the cliches and bad jokes, I find this show nice and funny because the message that it was conveying is that, looks doesn't matter, what matters is the heart.

Nonetheless, this is also a totally acceptable, completely forgettable romantic comedy that will make you laugh a fair few times, before floating harmlessly out of your life.

The Last Song

What can I say? I think I cried watching this movie.
It's an adaptation from the novel by Nicholas Sparks.
I read the book, I cry.
I watch the movie, I cry also.
Like OMG?

Oh besides that, the actor 'Liam Hemsworth' acting as Will Blakelee take my breath away.
He's like SUPER HOT.

Both wins :)

National Pink Day :)

When is National Pink Day? Always June 23rd! (in America)
This holiday is not to be confused with Wear Pink Day or National Wear It Pink Day- National Wear it Pink Day which is celebrated in Canada on May 27th, 2010. The actual
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed in October. National Pink Day has nothing to do with breast cancer awareness at all.

How is this holiday celebrated?
This holiday is celebrated by going pink! That's right, today's the day to celebrate the color pink in every way you can think of. It's easy to enjoy and participate in this holiday.

Here's a few ideas:
• Wear pink clothes: Pink is always in a little girls closet so let today be the day you wear pink clothes to town. Yep dress up in pink just like your kids and have a day of pink fun. Go shopping for something new in pink to wear for next year too!

Mama bought me a pink Miu Miu bag from KLCC.
Hmm, coincidence much?
Thanks mum :)

Toys Story 3 with PE1

Today was PE1 BKT + movie outing!
I joined the gang for the movie 'Toys Story 3'.
Seriously this movie is epic! I'd say it can be compared to Madagascar.

It is a remarkable film and a fitting conclusion to one of the most consistently enjoyable trilogies ever made. I mean look, always when a film has a sequel, the quality will deteriorate *no offense*.

However, once again ,Pixar has proved its worth to us :)
I will not forget the short film at the start, 'Day and Night'.
Beautifully filmed :)

This film can only be described with two words

Pure Enjoyment

I will not talk about the plot and synopsis here, don't wanna spoil the fun for those who haven't watch :)
adios amigos :D

P.S PE1, don't forget Saturday 7pm ;)

Tea Time

Finally, today I met up with Gek Si, a really good friend of mine.
How long have we been friends? 6 years.
I totally remember how we used to sing together in class as we used to be seatmates!

She's the owner of this iPhone wannabe HAHAHA

Mannee dropped by for a bit.
We talked for a bit and somehow I got to know how ex BU3-ians are doing now.
Oh well, Mannee is so thin and petite now :(.
Must have been cause of the stress!

We left around 4 because I needed to get home.
Oh by the way I tried the new Lemon Hibiscus Ice Blended from Starbucks.

Grande Lemon Hibiscus Blended in my cold cup tumbler

Hmm, not bad but I still prefer Lemon Green Tea Blended.
Til then peeps :)

P.S May Ling, you faster finish EXAMMMMMMM!!!!

Father's Day Lunch @Tao's Authentic Asian Cuisine

Tao, situated in Sunway Giza embraces a new concept of eating in KD (at least for Japanese food) with a all you can eat buffet for lunch and dinner. All customer have to do is pay RM48++ per pax and keep stuffing their stomach with the endless supplies of food. However, there is a penalty for wastage. For every 100g of wastage, customer will be charge RM10.

Today, for Father's Day promo, dads get 50% off the normal prices.
My family and relatives which summed up to 25pax including 3 dads, went to Tao for lunch.

I know many people has given good reviews on Tao, saying how good is their food and services, environment and ambiance.
But for me, my experience there was a total different story.

I don't know if it's because today there were too many customers or what, but somehow they just don't meet my expectation.
Services were too slow, food arrangement too messy.
The freshness of the food failed me, incomparable to the Japanese Restaurant situated one floor down from Tao.
Even the food that we ordered from the menu, were too slow to arrive.
I was rather disappointed at them.

I will not go back to Tao for a second time.

Oh by the way, here are some pictures I took at Tao.

Tao

Our table
We were seated at three such tables, given we had 25 pax, we were seated at the arrangement of 9-8-8. It was hard for us to get out and take the food.

Salad

Teppanyaki

Food variety were too limited if compared to rival restaurants (i.e Jogoya/Tenji).
Nonetheless, 25 of us had a good time chatting and catching up over there, because we could sit and chill there until the end of the time slot.

P.S Above are mainly my opinion, I have no intention in offending anyone of you readers.

A big shoutout to all the daddys out there!
YOU GUYS ROCK!

Weed?

I woke up this morning feeling really tired and bored of those walls at home. So, I took the keys and just drove out to explore new places.
I drove through Penchala Link towards Sri Hartamas.

I've never drove there before though, always my brothers are the ones driving there.
Was just very curious why my brothers love to hang out there at night.
Oh wells, nothing was there that captured my attention.
I got pretty lost and had to drive around a few times.
Lots of ang mohs and Koreans.

and then, I drove to Mont Kiara, just parked my car and then went down for a walk.
mmm, refreshing air :)
and then again, lots of ang mohs school kids :/
I felt so old over there.
settled down somewhere to have a cup of coffee and read my book.
It's a book called 'The Book Of Tomorrow' by Cecilia Ahern.
very nice book, I can't put the book down omg.
I finished my book YAYAYAYA!
Rating for the book : 3.5/5 :)

Then something happened.
These two women came and sat at the table next to me.
One woman took out a box of weed and started rolling em.
Next thing I know, she was smoking them and the smokes were coming at my direction.
Talk about being inconsiderate =.=
Suddenly, my quiet day got ruined.
I became a passive weed smoker.
FML zzz.

After what I saw, it really makes me wonder, that isit even legal to smoke weed in public, here at Malaysia? So, I left Mont Kiara and headed back to KD.

Overall, today was a good experience.
I guess I just can't sit still at home.
Must do this more often, venture out to new places that is :)
I discovered a few hang out places too.
Must bring my darlings there someday.

Omg, my green veins -_-

A Lagoon Virgin No More

Spent my first Wednesday of the holiday @Sunway Lagoon with my friends.

Today was my first time at Sunway Lagoon :X
*sigh* I know I'm not patriotic :P, Malaysia's theme park also never visit before xD

Well, the reason that I went to Lagoon is because of the fact that KK is leaving :(
He's going back to Sarawak.

Yan, Me and KK

Haha at his classic expression

We paid RM60 each for the 3 parks offer. 3 parks including Wet Park, Wildlife Park and Amusement Park.
Me, being the weak hearted only went on 1 ride in the amusement park xD, I was the camera woman most of the time xD, thanks to Yan's DSLR.

The crazy ride that I did not get on, hence I took this picture :)

Queue-ing up

KK FAIL.

The guys gap lui-ing
DAMN FAIL LA =.=

We were at the water park for about 2 hours plus.
It was so crowded over there, and all the crazy stuffs happened there.
Didn't feel like eating inside or changing inside, Yan and I just stomped out of the crowded Lagoon and changed in a cleaner washrooms.
Today was quite tiring, barely eaten anything.

All pictures were taken by Yan's DSLR and editted by Yan the Woman :)

We rented a float which is shaped like a 8, damn regret playing with it lor. Jie, Adam and Yin were the bad boys and bad girl. Yan and I kena teruk from them. Hmm, I think the water still trapped inside my ear, better get em out.
Til then peeps :)

Introducing Starbucks Summer Phase 2

'Summer Phase 1' which featured Espresso n Cream Frappucino and Strawberry n Cream Frappucino has been a hit :)
Today, Starbucks MY has officially launched 'Summer Phase 2'.

Lemon Hibiscus Ice Blended and Lemon Green Tea Ice Blended

After settling some errands at Damansara Perdana and also gotten myself enrolled in a baking class *JUMPS AROUND IN JOY*, I went over to the Kota Damansara outlet to grab my first try on the Lemon Green Tea.

I didn't have much expectation as oh well, y'all know that I'm a coffee addict :)

Introducing Lemon Green Tea Ice Blended...

Chris The Barista with my Grande Cold Cup Tumbler filled with Lemon Green Tea Ice Blended

Summer Phase 2 tumblers

Design 1 and 2

Design 3 and 4

I still like my own better :P

While waiting for the Barista to make my Lemon Green Tea, I had my usual :P

Yummylicious muffin and steaming hot sky juice

and then, Chris brought over my drink and I got my first try.
I must say the drink really fits the theme 'Summer'
Refreshing and tasty.

I'll go back for the Lemon Hibiscus Ice Blended :)

Veganified @Chef Low Organic Kitchen

13.6.2010

2pm-7pm
I was in Pavillion.
Had a yummy brunch in Food Republic, coffee session with mama at Coffee Bean, followed by a series of clothes-testing-without-buying-a-single-thing experience, and then 'Killers' with parents (: Surprisingly mama bought me a new swimsuit after knowing that my old ones went MIA thanks to my previous maid :(

7pm
dada : hungry, let's find something to eat!
mama : ok, *Being a die hard fan of Madam Kwan*, JOM MADAM KWAN.
me : sure sure jom jom!
dada : DON'T WANT LA, NOTHING TO EAT.

mama : who said Jalan Loke Yew? It's in 10 Boulevard.
me : eh? I thought that day you told me in Jalan Loke Yew?
mama : WHERE GOT? I TOLD YOU BLA BLA BLA YADA YADA ~~~
me : *nodding all the way* ok let's go.

and that's how I ended up here :)

Chef Low Organic Kitchen

The interior made me feels like I was dining @Full House or Garden Cafe lol.

Cutlery, from Ikea, see also know already xP

My Table Number :D EIGHT!

Dada's good friend, Uncle Low the boss ordering for us :)

haha dada and Uncle Low's expression damn funny xD, candid la candid =P

Chef Low Organic Kitchen serves various types of cuisine, ranging from Japanese, Thai, Western, Italian to Chinese.
Yesterday, we tried the Chinese cuisine.

First dish.
Appetizer a.k.a Rojak

Drinks.
The Kedondong Juice

The Fruit Tea

Rice.
Brown Rice

Main Course.
Bittergourd Escargot with Black Sauce

Kembong Fish

Stir Fried Paku Pakis

Claypot Beancurd with Mixed Vege and Cashew nut

Hmm, we were so full at the end of it.
Everything was so yummy for me!
*what to do, I've always have a soft spot for vegetarian food :P*
I love all the dishes, especially the Bittergourd Escargot,
oh well I'm sure if you know me well enough, you would have known that I'm crazy about bittergourd, and that explains everything :)
Anyway, having vegetarian for dinner has always been a rather refreshing meal for us, as having meat meat meat all the time can get boring for me :)
Not much of a meat lover aye.

Uncle Low offered to belanja us their homemade ice-cream but we were too stuffed, so we paid up and cabut-ed =P
Overall, it was cheap and the environment was nice.
We will be back for the Western cuisine.

P.S No meat were used to prepare the meals :)

Cheers to veganism!
