How to cope with monotony in class :P?

Day in, day out, college seem like a routine.
So normally I would go find my breakfast kaki a.k.a woman.

Yay HER :)

We just minum and gossip.

I wasn't supposed to laugh >.<"

Then, when CNY just seem so near,
noone has mood to study, so everybody is doing their own thing.
Getting consumed by technology,
playing with their gadgets, doing exercises, reading books.

:)

Shasha is lost :(

Meanwhile, my seatmates and I are just snapping away :D
*Snap Snap Snap*

Man Man and Me :D

Then he realized that I was snapping! Time to pose :)

RAWR

Look at Shasha :P

tada~ a day has passed :).
Today was a good day.
Everyone just do things together.
Less than half a year away left in college and all will be off to pursue their dreams :D

Time flies ain't it :)?
Happy holiday people.

Rants

ah those eye bags of mine, they are permanent now.
and I'm so pale :(
Not to mention that, the weather these few days, just took my mood away.
I'm feeling grumpy and don't feel like socializing :(
My flu and cough is not getting any better either.
Imagine every now and then I have to take out a piece of tissue for my stupid nose.
ZZZZZZ, stupid nose!
I suck at studying for a long period of time.
Why? I get this heavy migraine and my vision goes blur.
Stars and moon start appearing everywhere I look.

Zyrtec-D and Clarinase, I'm so disappointed at the two of you!!!
These two medicines really didn't help my flu.
I'll just have to use poison to counter poison then.

Oh ya, I had ice-cream from Gelatissimo today.
Awesome pawesome! Perfect for the hot weather.

This morning, ALL the cousins brought my paternal grandmother out for dimsum breakfast at Hong Kee Dim Sum, Aman Puri, Kepong.
Oh well, was just glad that grandma was happy and she was laughing all along.

Gah, I must get well before Chinese New Year.
God, pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease.

World's first underwater cabinet meet held in Maldives

17.10.2009

President Mohamed Nasheed, Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed and 11 cabinet ministers donned scuba gear and submerged 4 meters below the surface of sea to hold the world's first underwater cabinet meeting, in a bid to push for a stronger climate change agreement in the upcoming climate summit in Copenhagen.

“We are trying to send our message to let the world know what is happening and what will happen to the Maldives if climate change isn't checked” said President Nasheed, speaking to the press as soon as he resurfaced from underwater.

“What we are trying to make people realize is that the Maldives is a frontline state. This is not merely an issue for the Maldives but for the world. If we can't save the Maldives today, you can't save the rest of the world tomorrow”, said President Nasheed further.

During the 30-minute meeting held in the turquoise lagoon off Girifushi Island, with a backdrop of corals, the President, the Vice President and eleven other Cabinet ministers signed a resolution calling for global cuts in carbon emissions.

President Nasheed and the ministers used a waterproof pencils to sign the declaration, 'SOS from the frontline', printed on a white plastic slate, to be presented before the landmark UN climate summit in Copenhagen in December.

“Climate change is happening and it threatens the rights and security of everyone on Earth” the SOS message said. The SOS, endorsed by the cabinet, further called for people to “unite in global effort to halt further temperature rises, by slashing carbon dioxide emissions to a safe level of 350 parts per million”.

The Maldives is calling for an agreement at Copenhagen that will help reduce carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere to no more than 350 part per million. This would require a 40 per cent global reduction in green house gas emissions by 2020 from 1990 levels.

When asked what would happen if Copenhagen fails, the President said that “we are all going to die”. However, he said the Maldives would be the first country to adopt any amicable climate agreement that comes through Copenhagen.

In March this year President Nasheed announced that the Maldives would be the first country in the world to go carbon neutral, and the Maldives would achieve the target by 2020.

President Nasheed, who is an influential voice on climate change, is a certified open water diver, while other ministers took diving lessons recent weeks.

After the dive, signed wet suits of the President and the ministers will be auctioned on www.protectmaldives.com.mv to raise funds for coral reef protection in the Maldives.

P.S It's quite awesome to hold cabinet meeting underwater >.<"

Early 'Lou Sang' with 0901PE1 @3.7

The morning started with me looking for the big tray so that my class can use it to 'lou sang'.
I remembered using the tray to roll 'tong yuen' during Winter Solstice.
Matthew and I both left our houses late xD
I left late because I was washing the tray.
He left late because he was searching for his polo tee.
Oh ya, today's dress code was polo tee.
Oh well MOST of us wore polo at least :)

DANG! AND I WAS TOLD BY MATTHEW TODAY'S PHYSICS TEST CANCELLED!
:(

Drove to college with a runny nose.
What a perfect way to ruin my day huh.
Had double Physics before 'lou sang'.

'Lou sang' is some sort of PE1 pre CNY ritual neh.
Can make wishes!
I still remember last year's 'lou sang'
Memories of the event were..

EPIC
MEMORABLE
AUTHENTIC

We used Norman's cina plate to lou :D
The plate has the CNY feel neh xD

tada~! Nice!

After lou already then not so nice de =D
During 'lou sang', of course almost everyone wished for flying colours in A2.
NO DOUBT LE :)

Well, PE1 and all the lecturers were present!
Thanks Mr Lai for making the 'lou sang' ritual a success!
Without him there would be no 'lou sang' le >.<"
Thanks to all the lecturers which include Mr Peter(Mentor + FMA), Miss Wong(FMA), Miss Jean(Econs) and Mr Chan(Physics) for joining in the fun!

The fun doesn't end with the lecturers leaving after 'lou sang'.
PE1 has its own post-'lou sang' activity too.
It's like dejavu of last year's.
I'm not saying anything here.
I'll let the pictures express themselves.

By the way, whatever the pictures tell you, they have nothing to do with me ok? I'm just a blogger who happens to be a witness of the event.

Post-'lou sang' activity
